Have peace of mind at Chandler Park Assisted Living. We care for our residents as if they were our own family. We’re always just a phone call away if family members have questions.

Can I bring my own furniture and decorate my room?

The suites are waiting for your furniture and your own personal touch. We highly encourage our residents to make it their home.

Does Medicaid & Medicare participate in paying for assisted living?

Not at this time. They reserve their payments for facilities that provide medical care. Chandler Park Assisted Living provides non-medical assistance and therefore is not covered under Medicaid or Medicare.

I have a Long-Term Care Insurance policy. Will it pay for assisted living?

It depends. Most LTC policies do cover assisted living. There are many different types of policies with many types of coverages. You may want to contact the company or your agent for more information. Or you may contact us and we can help you find the specifics of your policy.

Do I have to sign a lease?

There is a lease agreement that must be completed prior to moving in, but it is a month to month lease. You are not locked in for a specific period of time.

Can I receive assistance with my medication?

Absolutely. We are able to assist with self-administered medication. Please contact us for questions on specific issues concerning medication or to request a copy of our Medication Policy.

Do I have to share a room?

No. All suites are private. Any double occupancy will be up to the resident.

Do I have to share a bathroom?

No. All suites have their own private bathroom.

Am I free to come and go as I wish?

Again absolutely. It is our desire for our residents to be as active and independent as possible. We would ask that you let us know when you come and go so we may know that you left and approximately when you will return.

Is there anything to do at the community?

There is always something going on. Whether it be the many planned events by our Life Enrichment Coordinator, Block Parties, card games, socializing in the ice cream shop, enjoying a peaceful afternoon stroll in the courtyard, or visiting a fellow resident in the library. There are many things to choose from.

Are visitors allowed to eat with me?

They most certainly are! We would ask that you notify the dietary staff as early as possible that you will be having guests. (Please note that there will be a minimal fee for them to join you.)
